Flintz, 22, from Croydon, and T4ylor, 17, from Birmingham, met in 2020 during the first lockdown through Instagram lives. Their Britain’s Got Talent audition was the first time they had ever met in person, and they had never rehearsed together.
T4ylor sent his piano parts over social media and Flintz wrote the lyrics. Their original song, “Change”, tells how Flintz was a troublesome kid who followed the wrong crowd, and he wrote it to inspire his younger brothers to do better. 🎶
The judges said it should not have worked for two people who had only just met, yet called it a perfect audition, even when Flintz’s voice broke with emotion at the end. An emotional Alesha said nobody like them had been on the show before, then saved the best till last with her Golden Buzzer.
Two friends from the internet walked off the stage and straight into the live semi-finals. ❤️
