Shadow Ace from the Philippines came to America’s Got Talent in 2023 with a mission to revive a lost art. Growing up, his family had no electricity at home, so he entertained himself by making shapes with his hands in the candlelight on the wall.
He told the judges his biggest dream is to meet Beyoncé. Then, using only his hands and a light, he created shadow characters that acted out famous pop songs, from big ballads to “Gangnam Style”. 🎭
Every new song brought a new character and a new joke, and the audience laughed and cheered as the shadows danced across the screen.
A skill that began as a way to pass dark nights at home became a performance full of humour and imagination. ❤️
