The Shy Girl Who Taught Herself to Hula Hoop Set the AGT Stage on Fire

Grace Good spinning hula hoops

Grace Good grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and says she was pretty shy as a kid. In college she discovered hula hooping while scrolling online, taught herself, and soon practiced with a group of hoopers on campus.

She took a leap and moved to Las Vegas, where she kept going with street performing and busking. On the AGT stage, the day before her 30th birthday, she told Simon she hoped to show him something he had never seen. Simon reminded her it was the audience she had to impress.

Then she went up in the air. Grace spun hoops while hanging high above the stage, and later came back with hoops on fire as Heidi and Sofia clapped along. 🔥

Her dream is to have her own show one day, and this audition showed she already has the act for it. ❤️
