Flau’jae was only 14 when she came back to America’s Got Talent for the Judge Cuts in 2018. The young rapper from Savannah, Georgia, carried a story that began before she was even born.

Her father, a rapper known as Camouflage, was killed two days before he was set to sign his record deal, while her mom was pregnant with her. She wants to keep his legacy alive, and she poured all of it into her original song “I Can’t Lose”. 🎶

Guest judge Chris Hardwick said she gave him goosebumps and that at 14 she already had the honesty and authenticity some artists never find. He gave a shout out to her mom and then hit the Golden Buzzer.

She never got the chance to meet her father, but on that stage his dream kept going through her voice. ❤️
