Billy and Emily England are a brother and sister who have been roller skating since they were 6. When it rained, their mum moved all the furniture out of the kitchen so they could use it as a skating rink. By the time they reached America’s Got Talent in 2017, Billy was 30 and Emily was 27.
Simon Cowell had already met them on Britain’s Got Talent two years earlier and said he had always hoped they would bring their act to America. Then the music started, and they spun on a small platform at incredible speed, with Emily flying around Billy. 🔥
The judges could hardly watch. Gasps filled the theatre every time her head swept close to the floor, and the audience cheered each daring move.
