“Dad, Mom is yelling behind the door — is she hurt?” the six-year-old texted while his father was on a business trip. The father told him to put the phone near the door, and within seconds, he dialed the police.

“Dad, Mom is screaming behind the door… is she hurt?” the six-year-old texted while his father was away on a business trip. The father told him to hold the phone up to the door — and seconds later, he was calling the police 😨😱

The husband had left on an early morning flight. At the airport, his little boy held onto him tightly.

“Will you be back soon?”

“In three days,” the father promised. “You’re the man of the house now. Take care of Mom.”

The first two days were normal. Their evening calls were full of cartoons, snacks, and the usual little updates. His wife sounded calm and kept saying everything was fine.

But on the third night, after a long day of meetings, the father was about to text home when a message popped up from his son:

“Dad… Mom is screaming behind the door. Is she hurt? What do I do?”

His stomach dropped. He called immediately.

“I’m in the hallway,” the boy whispered. “Her door is locked. She won’t answer.”

Then the father heard it — a muffled scream through the phone… followed by strange noises from inside the room.

Trying not to panic, he gave his son quick instructions.

“Put the phone near the door, but stay against the wall. Be quiet. Don’t let anyone see you.”

The boy moved carefully. The sounds became clearer.

And the second the father realized what was really happening inside that room… he called the police. 😢😲
