Following a shooting at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, July 13, Joe Biden expressed his gratitude that Donald Trump is “safe and doing well.” Following the shooting, Trump, 78, was spotted with blood on his face and ear. However, according to a statement released by his team, he is “fine” and is being examined at a hospital.
At least one audience member and the gunman have both died, according to Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger, who made this announcement to media sources like the Associated Press and ABC News.

Gunfire was audible when Trump was speaking. The former president was encircled by Secret Service agents who grabbed his ear and then stormed the stage to take him out of the area.
The Trump campaign reported that the former president was “fine” and “being checked out at a local medical facility” in a statement provided to PEOPLE.
“I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania,” stated 81-year-old Biden in a statement of his own. That he is safe and doing well pleases me. While we wait for more details, I’m praying for him, his family, and everyone who attended the protest.
Biden continued, “Jill and I are appreciative of the Secret Service for getting him to safety.” This kind of violence has no place in America. To denounce it, we as a nation must come together.

In a statement, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro said that he had been informed of the circumstances, that police were still on the scene, and that they were “working with our federal and local partners.”
It is completely wrong for violence to be directed towards any political party or political figure. Shapiro continued, “Lori and I are praying for President Trump, the Secret Service agents who protected him, those attending the event, and all of the first responders still on the scene. It has no place in Pennsylvania or the United States.”
