We have a love story for the ages, so grab a cup of coffee and settle in! The 27th wedding anniversary celebration for Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus isn’t your typical get-together. Nope, it’s just as well-known as the Doggfather.
The couple, who first connected as teenagers, is happy to be a father to three children.

The 52-year-old Snoop used Instagram (where else would he post these days?) to share his happiness and pictures from their party. With a poignant emoji, he posted on Instagram with the hashtag “#TwentySeven,” tagging Shante, who shared the same emotion on her own platform. Modern love, oh the joys!
The couple wore matching pink and white sweatsuits for this special occasion. Charmingly synchronized, Snoop encircled Shante, who accessorized with an equally vibrant blue cross-body bag. These two really exude style, don’t they?
Let’s go back to Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California, the starting point of it all. Picture a young Shante and Snoop, dressed to the nines, walking together to prom in 1989. In June 1997, they exchanged vows in the Marina Del Rey, California, Ritz Carlton Hotel. What a fantastic narrative!
The three children of the Broadus family—daughter Cori, 24, and sons Cordé, 29, and Cordell, 27—grew the family. But there’s still more! In addition, Snoop is the father of Julian, 25, who he had a prior relationship with Laurie Helmond. Not to mention that they are also proud grandparents!
