Mackenzie Sol is 25 and from Newcastle in the northeast of England. When he was just four, he auditioned for Simon on a UK talent show, and that was the moment he knew he wanted to be a singer.
Twenty-one years later he stood on the America’s Got Talent stage and sang Back to Friends by Sombr. His voice was soft and then soaring, and the audience was screaming before the last chorus. 🎶
Simon was amazed to meet the little boy again as a grown man. Mel B said he was absolutely fabulous and said she was glad she got to speak first, because she was going to press the Golden Buzzer.
The gold confetti came down, Mel signed his shirt, and the emotion in the room was overwhelming. ❤️
