Hannah Barrett reached The X Factor bootcamp in 2013, but by the time she sang, Nicole Scherzinger’s top six was already full. She told Nicole that this was her life and she was not going back to where she came from.
She sang I’d Rather Go Blind by Etta James. Her deep, bluesy voice carried all the pain of the song, and she sang with her whole heart. 🎶
Nicole called her stunning and said that was how you fight for your place in the competition. Then she made her decision. She had to have Hannah in her top six, even though there were no seats left.
To make room, Nicole sent another singer out of the chair. Hannah had fought her way in with one song. ❤️
