Alexa was seven years old when she came to America’s Got Talent with her dad Jorge, who plays the guitar. Their family videos had already been watched millions of times online, but on stage Alexa admitted she was scared of all the people.
Jorge played and the two of them sang Home together. Alexa held her own next to her father, and the sweet harmony between them filled the room. 🎶
When the judges explained that a yes would send her to Las Vegas, Alexa got mixed up about where they were, and the room burst out laughing. Howard Stern told Jorge he wished he had a dad like him and said he would call his father that night. Another judge called it the most touching moment of the season so far.
Alexa and her dad were sent to Vegas, and the whole room was smiling. ❤️
