Ellis Chick was 12 when he walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage with his nan, his godmother and his mum cheering him on. He said singing was his whole life, he was not nervous at all, and he dreamed of performing at the Royal Variety Show.
He sang You Make Me Feel So Young, the swing classic he knew from Michael Buble. Ellis moved like a little showman, smiled at the audience and delivered every line with total confidence. 🎶
One judge said the song choice was genius, another said he looked like David Walliams as a little boy, and David called him a little version of himself. Ellis was also told he was the most confident 12-year-old the panel had ever met, with a warning not to pick up corny pub singer habits.
Then David jumped up, stood next to Ellis and sang along with him. Four yeses later, Ellis was through. ❤️
