Joy Behar Ties the Knot with Long-Term Boyfriend After 29 Years Together!

Joy Behar turns 82 years old today! She hasn’t shown any indications of slowing down during the last few decades, and it seems the comic doesn’t plan to do so either.

She has been open about many parts of her life’s path, which has included many highs and lows. She has already opened up about her life and marriage, and she is now sharing more details about her experiences.

Joy Behar turned eighty-two today, her birthday falling on October 7, 1942! She was one of the initial panelists of “The View,” a popular daytime talk program, and she has been a co-host since 1997. Her appearances on the show have decreased, nevertheless, in recent years.

Behar departed the show in 2013 but returned in 2015. When asked about being sacked from the show, she said, “I was glad to be fired.” I don’t really remember why, but at that point, I was basically tired with the show.

The TV host expressed her uncertainty over her dismissal and pointed out that the network had not provided an explanation either. “That was very stupid of them,” she said. However, they took the lesson to heart. She stated in October 2022 that she has no plans to leave the show.

Behar has previously said, “I’m happy to be a part of it,” when asked about her amazement at the number of people watching her show. Thus, no, I’m not leaving. I’m enjoying myself here.

She celebrated her birthday live last year.

When Behar’s co-hosts pointed out that she didn’t seem really excited about her birthday, she said, “I can’t get excited.” Just that I’m alive, that’s all. You know, there comes a time when you wake up in the morning and tell yourself, “My God, I’m still here.”

Behar has had it all in her personal life. She is a mother, grandma, and the daughter of two previous marriages.

Steve Janowitz, Behar’s second spouse, is a retired educator. After dating for over 29 years, the couple were married in 2011. He wore a black suit with a white shirt and bow tie, while she wore a short-sleeved dress. Their costumes were coordinated for the event.

After getting married, the actress thought back on her second marriage and said, “Do I appear like a blushing bride to you? It has been two decades.

She said that because the couple had been together for so long, there had never been a “honeymoon” period. After spending many years together, they were just getting married to the person they loved.

She mentioned that they aren’t the sensitive kind, therefore none of them takes any comments the other makes personally, which is the secret to their long-lasting relationship.

She said her husband had a terrific sense of humor and disclosed that, in the first year of their relationship, she had kept her comic career a secret out of fear that it would turn him off.

Before deciding to get married, the couple had been dating for about 30 years. Behar responded, “We waited so long because I had been married before, and I didn’t really see the point,” when asked why they had waited for so long.

We did it for the s*x, the comic joked, but she then said that as she got older, she needed someone who would support her “emotionally and legally” in case something went wrong.

Although Janowitz is seven years older than his well-known spouse, the couple has been blissfully wed for more than 13 years.

Behar is not just a wife but a mother as well. Eve Behar was born in November 1970 to her and her first husband, Joseph Behar. The couple wed in 1965 and stayed together until 1981.

Now that she is married to Alphonso Scotti, her daughter has a son called Luca. Behar excitedly displays her eight-month-old grandchild, calling him “brilliant” and verbally expressive already.

Her daughter Eve is an artist who recently uploaded a family group photo from the event along with information about an art opening. Luca, who is currently a teenager, has a photo of himself with his grandmother on his mother’s Facebook.
