Animals frequently find themselves in precarious situations where they require assistance from humans in order to escape.
When people take the initiative to assist these defenseless animals, it makes me happy. This happened lately when a train conductor stopped in order to save the life of a turtle.
Introducing Serhat Topal, a Turkish streetcar driver. He noticed something strange on the tracks while traveling his regular route: a turtle.
Serhat told The Dodo, “It was a turtle trying to cross the tracks toward the countryside, but he was stuck.” “I believe he was afraid.”
Then Serhat did something truly amazing: he got off the train, helped the turtle, and went above and beyond.
In order to save the animal from being run over by any approaching trains, he carefully lifted it up and placed it over a fence to safety.
When the turtle reached the other side, Serhat observed that it looked healthy and cheerfully went away.

Even if it was the correct thing to do, train delays can be annoying for passengers.
On the other hand, Turks are renowned for their love of stray animals. The passengers responded positively to Serhat’s explanation of the situation, expressing gratitude and even claiming they were “happy because I helped.”
Serhat said to The Dodo, “All living things are our friends, and we should approach them with love.” “This should be everyone’s responsibility. I’ve just fulfilled my obligation.
We sincerely appreciate this conscientious conductor’s efforts to safeguard the turtle! It is, after all, our duty to protect our natural allies.
