Kate Middleton visited The London Clinic at the beginning of the month for a scheduled treatment. We don’t yet know the specifics of her disease, but she underwent abdominal surgery.
There was an announcement from Kensington Palace.
“Her Royal Highness Yesterday, The London Clinic admitted The Princess of Wales for her scheduled abdominal surgery. After a successful surgery, she should stay in the hospital for ten to fourteen days before going home to continue her recuperation. Her return to public duties is unlikely to occur until after Easter, based on the current medical advice.
“The Princess of Wales is grateful for the attention that her remarks will bring. She wishes for the public to comprehend her wish to keep her children’s lives as normal as possible and her desire for her private medical records to remain that way.
As a result, Kensington Palace will only offer updates on Her Royal Highness’s status when there is noteworthy new information to disseminate. The Princess of Wales regrets having to cancel her planned engagements and extends her condolences to everyone involved. She is eager to get as many back as she can, as quickly as she can.
Middleton’s husband, Prince William, is currently residing with his spouse at The London Clinic. The Prince of Wales had canceled his royal obligations and plans to be with his wife and stay with her while she recovered in order to assist her.
According to The Sun, Prince William has been seeing his wife every day since she was admitted to the hospital. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, their children, had not yet laid eyes on their mother.
She will be excited to get home and cuddle with the kids because she likes spending time with her family. William and Kate are both highly involved parents; they drop the kids off at school, go to sporting events and concerts, and make every effort to be home by bedtime. William will be at home trying to maintain things as normal as possible while Kate is in the hospital.
