A young man from the Philippines walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage and introduced himself as Shadow Ace. He told the judges he wanted to revive a lost art, shadow art, the kind you make with your hands in front of a light.
He explained that when he was a kid, his home did not have electricity, so he used candles to make shadows on the wall for entertainment. When asked who his favorite artist is, he said Beyoncé, and that his biggest dream is to meet her 🤩.
Then the lights went down and his hands took over. He told funny little stories with his shadows, timed perfectly to well known songs, and the audience laughed and cheered all the way through.
The judges loved it. One called it spectacular and said they could watch it all night. Another said many shadow acts can be boring, but this was the opposite, and that kids are going to love it. Simon said he really liked him and his imagination, and the yeses came in one after another 🌟.
