Two men walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage and introduced themselves. Lee was 31 and Vince was 41, and they explained that they are both in the army. Together, they sing swing music as the Soldiers of Swing.
They started with That’s Amore, but it did not go well. One judge said the song choice was the big problem, calling it a throwaway song for an act that calls itself swing. Another said it felt like they were winding the judges up the whole time 😳.
The soldiers admitted it was not their best performance. Simon said he was tempted to hear their second song, and they quickly launched into Luck Be a Lady. This time, their voices and their confidence sounded completely different.
The judge who had criticized them apologized, saying the second song proved them wrong. Others said their voices blend brilliantly and that the chemistry and friendship between them is fantastic. One judge even joked that they would like them even more in their uniforms. The soldiers left with four yeses 🎤.
