Connie Talbot was only six years old when she walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage. She told the judges she had been singing since she was two, and when Simon asked what she thought about singing for the Queen, her honest “I don’t know” made the whole room laugh.
Then she began “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” Her small, sweet voice filled the theater, and the audience went completely quiet as she carried the classic all the way to the final line. 🎶
One judge called her absolutely brilliant, and Amanda admitted she was a complete mess after crying through the song. Simon spoke to Connie like an adult and told her she was fantastic.
All three judges said yes, and Connie went through to the next round. A tiny girl with a big dream gave one of the sweetest auditions the show has ever seen. ❤️
