Breez Carver had just turned 13 when she stepped onto the America’s Got Talent stage. She has been dancing since she was five or six, and she explained why through tears: she was adopted when she was very young and was so shy that she always hid behind her mom.
Her parents believed dance would make her more confident, and they were right. Breez chose Kelly Clarkson’s “Piece by Piece” and turned it into a graceful, emotional routine that seemed to float across the stage. 🎶
The room erupted when she finished. One judge called it perfection, another said she dances with her face and her emotions and gave her chills, and Howie said America is going to love her.
