Raymond Salgado, 24, from Vancouver Island in British Columbia, came to Canada’s Got Talent with something to prove. A year earlier he had auditioned for American Idol, and the judges there said he was not ready.
He explained that when he applied for American Idol, he did not bring his full self into the audition, and he believes the judges could see that. 💫
Since then, Raymond said, he had grown a lot, found himself and learned to love who he is. He told the judges he knew he was capable and ready, and that he had worked very hard to be there.
He sang a Bryan Adams cover with total confidence, and his voice filled the hall. By the end the audience was on its feet, and Raymond had shown everyone exactly how ready he was. 🎤
