Kaitlyn Maher had just turned 4 when she auditioned for America’s Got Talent. Asked where she was from, she answered proudly, “I’m from America.”
Her parents said she started singing when she was about a year old, after hearing them sing at home. Backstage, one of them admitted they would probably cry if she made it through. 🎀
She chose “Somewhere Out There,” and her tiny, sweet voice filled the theater. She remembered every word and followed the melody all the way through.
One judge said she might be the best four-year-old singer in the world. David Hasselhoff voted yes and told her he would love her to come to Las Vegas, and Kaitlyn became the youngest contestant to make it through to Las Vegas. ✨
