He had equally charming plans for the million-dollar prize: a family cruise with complimentary ice cream, roller coasters, and jacuzzis. The audience was instantly won over by this blend of youthful genuineness and professional ambition, which created the ideal conditions for an engaging audition.
During his performance, King sang a rap song that he had written at the age of five. King had a powerful stage presence and unwavering confidence despite his advanced age, and the music was quickly contagious. He commanded the enormous stage and maintained a high level of intensity while delivering the lyrics with remarkable rhythm and swagger, as if he had been singing for decades. The audience was immediately up and dancing, completely engrossed in the young star’s captivating performance.
His innate talent for performance obviously impressed the judges. Mel B said he already seemed like a celebrity and praised his “swag and rhythm and confidence.”
Acknowledging a unique skill, Simon Cowell described him as “naturally good” and emphasized the importance of a young artist creating their own work. Simon anticipated that King will soon be asked to appear on the records of numerous well-known musicians.
