Before they discovered their frightened daughter hiding in the closet one night, the 6-year-old girl’s parents didn’t believe her when she claimed to have heard weird noises in her room at night 
Lilia has always been a peaceful, happy child. She picked the brightest room as soon as the family moved into their new home because it had a large built-in closet, a tiny balcony, and large panoramic windows. Everything was great for the first few weeks: Lilia adored her new environment, played, and drew pictures.
However, she quickly started to complain of odd nighttime noises.
With her toy in her hand, she exclaimed, “Mom, he’s rustling again.” “There is a person moving about in my room.”
Her parents didn’t think she was real. They wrote it off as fantasy since kids her age make stuff up. Her dad chuckled and said, “Probably just mice.” It was just the wind, according to her mother. However, Lilia repeated:

The noises vanished in the mornings. They came back at night, precisely when her parents had gone to sleep.
Lilia began crying when she woke up, dozing off in class, and creating darker, more unsettling drawings. The girl’s teacher called home to report that she had grown scared and reclusive.
The mother chose to spend a night in her daughter’s room. However, there were no footsteps or rustles as the night went by. Lilia simply lowered her gaze when she told her:

Lilia’s weariness and exhaustion increased daily. It wasn’t until that night that her mother could truly believe her, even though she started to worry.
She decided to take a quick look into her daughter’s room after waking up to get some water. She opened the door softly and froze.

Curled up in the corner of the closet, Lilia was shaking with terror. The girl put a finger to her lips as the mother opened the door.

The woman felt icy shivers down her spine.
Breathless with fear, she woke her husband after grabbing Lilia and carrying her out of the room. He initially believed his wife was being overly dramatic. However, he also heard it when he went upstairs and put his ear to the floor.
A portion of the floor next to the wall was opened the following day. They discovered a sealed technical hatch beneath an old wooden board. There’s a small opening between the walls beneath it.
There were bottles, rags, and food crumbs in that hallway. footprints. There was unmistakable proof that someone had lived there. A person who was only out at night.
Later, police learned that they were looking for a homeless man who used to “settle” inside old or abandoned homes, hiding in ventilation passages and maintenance shafts.
They had been hearing him every night.
That same day, the family left the house. And Lilia slept soundly for the first time in months.
