Even though she knew her pregnant daughter-in-law couldn’t swim, the mother-in-law pushed her into the pool, claiming it was a joke. However, everyone was startled by what the daughter-in-law did afterward 
Soft music played in the yard as guests laughed, held glasses in their hands, and waited for the couple to reveal their pregnancy. This was the party when the parents were expected to learn the baby’s gender. Wearing a gorgeous lilac dress, the daughter-in-law stood at the side of the pool, supporting her tummy. The pregnancy was already far along, so she had to be careful at every turn.
The mother-in-law came up behind him. There was an odd, disagreeable look in her eyes and a broad, forced smile on her face. She muttered something. With confidence, the daughter-in-law turned to answer. However, the mother-in-law quickly pushed her forward with both hands.
The pregnant woman fell into the water without even having time to yell.
All of the guests started laughing at first. Someone applauded, and someone made a joke about it being “the video of the year.” The loudest laugh came from the mother-in-law, who clapped her hands as though it were all part of the show.
But when the pregnant woman still didn’t appear after a short while, the laughter abruptly ceased.
One pal said, “Uh… where is she?”
“She… she’s not coming up,” a shaky voice murmured.
The mother-in-law was the only one to say sharply:
Come on, she’s capable of swimming. She is merely acting.
However, the husband whirled in her direction:
She is unable to swim! And you were aware of that!
The face of the mother-in-law went white. The grin disappeared. She took a step back:
“I… I… I forgot.”
However, it was too late. A number of males had already leaped into the sea. One of them reappeared a few seconds later, cradling the unconscious pregnant woman. Some people started crying, while others screamed. In a panic, the husband repeated his wife’s name while shaking her shoulders.
A few painful seconds later, she opened her eyes, took a breath, and coughed. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, with the exception of the mother-in-law, whose lips and hands quivered.
The daughter-in-law rose slowly, pallid and drenched but utterly composed and resolute. The guests were all startled by what she did next 
Looking directly at her mother-in-law, the daughter-in-law spoke loudly enough for everyone to hear:
“You were well aware of my inability to swim.”
“No… I… I forgot. The mother-in-law stumbled and took a step back.
“You remembered. You’ve despised me since the first day. This child “certainly isn’t your son’s,” you said. You attempted to eliminate us both.
“That is untrue!” The mother-in-law nearly yelled. “You are inventing this!”
The expectant mother held up her phone.
“All right. Let’s contact the police then. They have access to the pool’s CCTV footage. Whether you shoved me intentionally or by accident is evident. Additionally, it clearly captures your words. Additionally, you will never again see your grandchild.
The mother-in-law broke down in tears and went white.
They phoned the cops. The deliberate push was verified by the cameras. They also documented the mother-in-law’s prior threats.
For abuse and putting a pregnant woman’s life in jeopardy, the mother-in-law was given a real prison sentence.
