I was so tired of my mother-in-law’s and my husband’s crude remarks, so I did this when they left me in the hotel lobby.
I had reserved a luxurious hotel for our family’s trip. I went into the hotel lobby while my husband and my mother-in-law were parking the car.
They didn’t show up after I waited for thirty minutes, and my spouse didn’t pick up when I called. “Madam, are you okay?” a hotel employee asked me at that same time.
“Your husband and his mother are already in their rooms,” the service member said when I introduced myself and said I was waiting for my husband and mother-in-law.
I became aware that they had left for their rooms without my knowledge. They were making a joke, but I didn’t think it was amusing at all.
To be honest, I was sick of their crude jokes and made the decision to discipline them. This is what I did.
I had gone as far as I could that night.
Since everything was in my name, I went to the reception and canceled all of their bookings.
I then reserved a regular room for myself.
The personnel acknowledged that I was the one who had canceled everything, and their key cards stopped working.
Despite my husband’s attempts to stop me, I left them in the lobby and went up to my room with the assistance of security.
I had made the decision this time that I would never put up with this kind of treatment again.
