When one of the local guys brought a woman like that back to his parents’ house, the entire community was shocked. However, soon after, a horrible fact about his new wife was revealed.
When the man returned home to his parents with a girlfriend by his side, the entire hamlet was in disbelief.
He had been working in the city for the last few years, and nobody in the hamlet had gotten in touch with him. His parents only infrequently received brief letters and little sums of money from their son.
Then one day he came back. With his new wife, not by himself.
The old parents were ecstatic that their lone son had at last begun a family. Before they actually saw their daughter-in-law, they were looking forward to meeting her.
The mother stood beside their son; only her eyes were visible due to the tight bandages covering the rest of her face.

The neighbors gossiped, conjectured, and muttered. Some accused her of being a witch, while others believed she was a criminal.
The parents were also unable to find tranquility. Their kid would whisper consoling words to the mom as she sobbed quietly behind the closed door every evening.
The young couple’s chamber was always locked after eleven o’clock, so one night, out of curiosity and fear, they chose to peek inside.
The daughter-in-law was carefully taking off the bandages from her face while seated in front of the mirror. Then her parents discovered what she had been concealing for so long 
She had terrible burns and scars all over her face, which were apparent in the lamp’s low light.
The mother was unable to contain her scream.
The son recognized the truth was out as soon as he woke up and leaped to his feet.
Yes, he said, “you now know the truth.”
He told them about being trapped in a horrible fire years ago while he was living in the city. This woman was the one who rescued him from the burning dormitory building. She saved his life, although she was nearly completely burned.
He looked his parents in the eyes and said, “I couldn’t leave her.” I liked her heart more than I loved her face.
Following those remarks, the mother broke down in tears and went to her daughter-in-law. For the first time, she gave her a gentle hug, perhaps out of fear of hurting her.
