A barefoot child was crying nonstop and pounding on the car door with his fists

😱😵 A toddler in bare feet was wailing uncontrollably and beating his fists against the car door. I felt a cold as I approached and peered inside. I reached for my phone right away and dialed 911.

I saw him as I was making my way to my car. A young child was hammering his fist on the black door of a vehicle while barefoot on the hot asphalt. By themselves. There were only his broken sobs and the monotonous thuds on the metal, no people or voices in the area.

I paused. With a youngster in the center of the parking lot, red eyes, shaking hands, and a general sense of emptiness, the picture appeared to have been lifted straight out of a nightmare. With my heart thumping in my throat, I walked closer. He hit the door once again, pointed to the car, and started crying.

I bent in the direction of the glass. hazy. Pulling at my hand, the child gestured inside once more.

I hugged the infant tight while he continued to wail. I leaned over the windshield as I approached the vehicle. I was astounded by what I saw inside. I immediately reached for my phone and dialed 911.
