A young girl is found standing by herself on the street, and strangers call the police. She says she was told to leave by voices, and they point to the home at the end of the street. 😱👀
Nobody was aware of her origins. A six-year-old girl, wearing a lovely pink outfit, appeared to have just left a party as she stood motionless on the pavement.
People started to pause and gaze. While some argued over whether social services should be contacted, others offered to buy her water. She didn’t appear deserted. Conversely, it was evident that she had received good care. But she said nothing. Until she at last muttered:
— “I heard voices.”
The audience went shivering. Someone hesitated for a moment, then called the cops.
After fifteen minutes, a young sergeant who was obviously exhausted showed up. He knelt before the girl and inquired politely:
— “Hi. What is your name? Your folks are where? Why are you by alone out here?
The young girl whispered softly as she glanced up at him:
— “I was instructed to leave the house by the voices.”
The sergeant stopped.
— “What voices, my love?”
His blood ran cold when he heard the following response 😨.

There was a chill in the air. Someone contacted the cops after a few tense seconds.
After fifteen minutes, a young sergeant showed up, obviously worn out. He knelt down in front of the girl and whispered:
— “Hi. What is your name? Your folks are where? Why are you by yourself outside?
The young girl raised her head and muttered:
— “I was instructed to leave the house by the voices.”
The sergeant stopped.
— “What voices, my love?”
After hesitating, she continued:
— “I didn’t see.” Behind the door was me. A loud noise came first. The voices then ordered, “Go.” Or a horrible thing will occur.
After pausing, she hesitantly said, “Sir… What is meant by “something terrible”?
The officer’s heart constricted.
With gentleness, he said, “Where do you reside?”
Slowly, the young girl held up her hand and gestured toward the house at the end of the block.
It appeared completely regular from the outside: a neat yard, drapes drawn, a serene façade.
The sergeant walked up and pushed the door open, leaving it slightly open.
He froze in the living room as soon as he entered.
A woman lay on the floor, still. Silent and frozen was everything.
Later, the investigation showed that the father had done the unimaginable out of anger.
The young girl had come to the room after hearing her mother scream. but didn’t go inside.
Amidst the confusion, her father’s voice could be heard, broken and desperate:
— “Go, run.”
One last thing to shield her from the catastrophe he had brought about.
He was unaware, however, that she had already grasped the concept. She had experienced everything.
So she went out.
She walked down the street by herself in her pale dress, hoping that someone would notice her.
wishing someone would pay attention.
And someone did.
She lived despite her father, not because of him.
