An nasty surprise awaited the crooks when they attempted to loot the home of an old woman who was lonely.
For days, the crooks had been keeping a close eye on the neighborhood. They kept track of everyone’s movements, noting who entered and exited and when the lights came on and off. Their goal was straightforward: an old, peeling house with faded blue window frames at the end of the block. Few people were aware that an old woman resided there. However, the robbers were very knowledgeable.
The elderly widow had a son who lived far away but paid her money each month, which the neighbors had stupidly disclosed. She concealed the bills beneath her mattress since she didn’t trust banks. “Antiquated,” they declared. It was too easy a target, and that was the final straw.
Equipped with black masks and gloves, the robbers came to the residence at night. The door was extremely noisy, so they didn’t want to risk it. They made the decision to enter through an ancient window that, based on their observations, had not been securely closed for a considerable amount of time. It only took a few minutes to break in. Everything was proceeding as planned.
However, they discovered something odd just before climbing inside, and they sincerely regretted what they had done.
The house appeared black, as it should at night, yet there was some movement in the middle of the corridor. One paused, took a good look, and froze. From the darkness, he could see eyes glaring at him. Big, serene, self-assured. Not human. of a creature.
It everything happened too quickly in the next second.
There was a large Alabai leaping at them from the hallway, growling ferociously. The dog was at the window in a matter of seconds after racing across the wooden floor with amazing speed. One of the robbers was unable to respond in time and fell backward, while the other fled but staggered.
Despite being awakened by the sound, the elderly woman remained calm. Reaching for the phone, she dialed the cops. I do have thieves, yes. She calmly spoke into the phone, “But don’t worry, the dog is already dealing with them.”
By the time the patrol got there, one burglar was sitting in a corner against the wall, terrified to move, while the other was lying on the ground with a ripped leg.
Without a sound, the massive Alabai stood between them like a sentinel, yet every glance conveyed the same message: take one more step and you’ll regret it.
It was later discovered that this puppy had been given to her by her son, an officer at a cynological center, following the passing of her father. Then he added, “Mom, let him keep you safe.” And the faith was fulfilled by the dog.
Even the police were taken aback by what transpired. They anticipated seeing a terrified elderly woman, but instead they saw a hostess serving tea to the police in a composed manner, with the night’s hero, the powerful and devoted Alabai, at her feet.
