After much deliberation, Brian chose to adopt a dog from a shelter instead of purchasing one.

The dog had been a little uneasy around males ever since.

However, he was so weak that he collapsed to the ground without warning.
Luckily, Sadie was with him and stepped in right away.
In order to keep Brian from fainting, the dog began licking his face.
Brian then took hold of the dog’s collar and dragged him to the table.
Brian managed to pick up the tabletop phone and make an assistance call.
While Sadie stood there, devoted and protective, the emergency services arrived promptly and were able to care for Brian.
