Our dog was staring intently at the wall in the bedroom and kept barking, not letting us sleep: we had to call a builder and break down the wall

We had to call a constructor and have the wall taken down since our dog was barking and looking at the bedroom wall, keeping us awake😱😱

It felt like a dream come true when my husband, our kid, and I moved into the new home. The house had huge windows looking out over the forest, a comfortable lawn, and vast rooms despite its age. At first glance, we fell in love with it. It seemed as though a joyful new chapter in our lives was about to start.

At first, our Doberman, Rada, appeared content. She joyfully ran through the house, looking in all directions. However, we noticed something odd almost immediately: she sat in the same location in the bedroom every day and gazed at the wall for a long time, quite intently. She would occasionally sit calmly, but increasingly she would snarl, bark, and even scrape the wallpaper with her paws.

She acted quite normal in other rooms. We assumed it was either a peculiarity or a response to the activity. However, Rada’s actions became increasingly consistent over time. She kept staring at the same wall while she woke us up at night with her barking.

We initially attempted to soothe her. We then reprimanded her. However, nothing was helpful. After a long night of insomnia and mounting worry, we finally asked ourselves, “Why does this wall aggravate our dog so much?”

To gently disassemble a portion of the wall, we summoned a builder we knew. When we saw what was inside the wall, we froze in dread 😨😱

There was a small technical opening behind the plasterboard. Dust, cobwebs, darkness, and a metal box. securely set into the brick.

Our hearts stopped when we opened it. Bones, worn-out children’s shoes, a stuffed animal, and an extremely ancient can of preserved food were all found inside.

We had trembling hands. We dialed the police right away. An inquiry was initiated. As it happened, a girl had vanished from this house in 1987.

Since she was never located, it was believed at the time that she had fled from home. The mother passed away from grief, the case was closed, and the father soon left.

A genuine search for the person who might still be alive and in hiding started once the girl’s case was reopened.

Rada never again let out a bark. She has never again approached that wall since that day.
