Brett Gardner’s son died from asphyxiation, claims preliminary investigation

According to a recent rumor, former Yankees player Brett Gardner’s son asphyxiated to death.

Following a devastating statement from Brett and his wife Jessica, we broke the terrible news of Miller Gardner’s passing yesterday. The 14-year-old had first felt ill “‘along with several other family members while on vacation,” according to the statement.

We regretfully had to inform you of the demise of Miller, our youngest son. The teen’s parents claimed, “He was 14 years old and left us far too soon after falling ill while on vacation with several other family members.”

“We know that he died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Friday, March 21st, but we still have a lot of questions and few answers.”

The distraught family requested privacy while they “mourn his loss and search for healing” and did not provide any other information about the illness Miller had gotten while on vacation.

However, according to a recent TMZ claim, Miller asphyxiated to death in a Costa Rican resort. According to Inside Edition, the teenager and several members of the group became very ill while on a family holiday at the resort.

According to NBC News, local investigators speculated that the teen’s death might have been caused by “possible intoxication after apparently ingesting some food.”

According to Juan Pablo Alvarado, a representative of Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigative Agency, toxicology and autopsy results are still pending confirmation of the initial cause of death.

Brett, Miller’s father, played outfield for the Yankees for the whole of his 14-year Major League Baseball career. After playing his final game in 2021, the 41-year-old had been spending more time in South Carolina with his family.

In a statement, the Yankees expressed their support for Gardner.

“After learning of Miller Gardner’s passing, our hearts are heavy and the Yankees family is filled with grief,” the organization stated. Words seem meaningless and inadequate when attempting to convey such an unfathomable loss. Brett was not the only one who spent more than 17 years growing up in this organization; his wife, Jessica, and their two boys, Hunter and Miller, also did.

Miller had a spark in his eyes, an enthusiastic and feisty attitude, and a warm and caring demeanor. We mourn his passing alongside Brett, Jessica, Hunter, and their community of family and friends.

“The Gardner family has our undying and unwavering affection, and we will continue to assist them while respecting their right to solitude at this difficult time.

“I hope Miller finds peace.”
