Following a contentious performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards with his wife, Bianca Censori, Kanye West is dealing with serious financial repercussions.
The rapper reportedly lost an incredible $20 million deal for two gigs at Tokyo Dome this May as a result of what was supposed to be a headline-grabbing stunt.
Grand entrances are nothing new to Kanye West, and this year’s Grammys were no different. West and his spouse, Bianca Censori, arrived in two Mercedes-Maybachs that were all chrome and cost an incredible $450,000 apiece.
Although the futuristic, mirror-like cars shone in the flashing lights, Censori’s daring wardrobe choice was the main attraction.
Censori’s bold, transparent, skin-colored ensemble startled Japanese investors and sparked a backlash, according to Daily Mail sources. According to insiders, West’s attempt to generate attention in Japan, where cultural norms are very different from those in the United States, failed horribly.
One person said plainly, “Kanye is just ****ing up every opportunity that comes to him.” The prank has been met with dread in Japan and was incredibly eerie. He has utterly miscalculated the Japanese people’s tolerance.

Hickling claims that the founder of Yeezy says to his wife, “You’re making a scene now.” The expert then adds, “Make a scene, I’ll say it’ll make so much sense,” to bolster Censori’s confidence.
Hickling alleges that once the Australian model nodded, Kanye said, “Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you.”
According to Hickling, Censori said, “Okay, let’s go.”

With the intention of dominating headlines and igniting social media indignation, the conduct seemed to be a marketing drive for West’s Yeezy brand.
But the shock factor had unanticipated repercussions.
