Three-packet slow cooker pot roast servings (6–8) Ingredients
3–4 pound roast of chuck
One packet of ranch seasoning blend
One package of Italian dressing mix
One brown gravy mix package
One cup of water
Chopped veggies (carrots, potatoes, and onions) are optional.
Instructions
1. Fill the slow cooker with the chuck roast.
2. Drizzle the roast with the packets of brown gravy, ranch, and Italian dressing.
3. To prevent the seasonings from being rinsed off, pour the cup of water around the roast’s edges rather than on top.
4. Now is the time to surround the roast with any veggies you plan to add.
5. Cover and cook until the roast is cooked and shreds easily with a fork, about 8 hours on low or 4–5 hours on high.
6. Before serving, shred the roast using two forks and stir it back into the juices.
