Shannen Doherty shared heartbreaking social media post just days before she died

Many people were in grief after the globe was shocked to learn of Shannen Doherty’s death. The 53-year-old Charmed star spent the last seven years of her life battling cancer.

She wrote a sorrowful post on the internet prior to her untimely death.

Doherty frequently provided updates on her health status during her fight with the illness. When she revealed that she had “invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node,” she received her initial breast cancer diagnosis in 2015.

The 90210 star’s initial cancer diagnosis resulted in remission following multiple surgeries and therapies, but the illness later resurfaced.

Her diagnosis of stage four breast cancer, a severe stage in which the cancer spreads to other parts of the body, was devastatingly revealed in 2020.

Doherty underwent surgery in 2023 to remove “almost all” of the brain tumor when it was discovered that the cancer had spread to her brain and bones.

The actress posted a snippet from the Let’s Be Clear podcast to her Instagram profile as her last social media post.

For the first time in a long time, he said in the video, “I don’t know how long I’m going to be on chemotherapy because I don’t know if it’s going to be three months or six months or if we are going, you know, if after three months if it’s not working if we’re going to change again.”

To be honest, I have no idea; I can’t forecast that. It’s frightening since my physicians can’t predict it.

It serves as a sort of wake-up call, but I also have to admit that there is some good news because my cancer cells’ molecular makeup has lately changed.

It indicates that I have a lot more protocols to try. Because there are so many more regulations today, I think I’m feeling hopeful for the first time in a few months.

“Previously, I was optimistic, but I was still preparing.”

Yesterday, July 14, Doherty’s friend and publicist Leslie Sloane confirmed her death.
