‘God alone’ saved me, says Donald Trump

Donald Trump urged Americans to band together against political violence and declared that “God alone” had protected his life from an attempted assassination.

Following Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the campaign, Republican Party presidential nominee Donald Trump expressed doubts about Biden’s capacity to serve as president. During his speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Trump fervently argued for himself as president.

As the national anthem, “God Bless America,” began to play, Trump entered the arena to cheers of “USA, USA,” while sporting a bandage over his right ear from an attempted assassination during a rally. He stated in his address that he wanted to serve as president of all of America, not just a few.

“There is no victory in winning for half of America, which is why I am running for president of the entire country, not just half of it. Thus, I humbly accept your nomination for president of the United States of America today with faith and dedication,” said Trump.

In addition, Trump talked about his terrifying experience of escaping the attempted assassination and claimed that supernatural intervention was responsible for it. He pledged to carry out his mission and thanked the American people for their support.

The Democratic Party’s attacks on him should stop, the presidential candidate said, calling for harmony and an end to political persecution. Trump made it clear that he alone can preserve democracy for the people of the United States.

The Republicans appear to have gained momentum with Trump portraying himself as the president of the entire country, while the Democrats continued to encourage President Biden to get out of the race.
