A father’s choice to bring his dog along rather than his son has gone viral. The strange sight was captured on camera by a woman, who posted the footage on her TikTok account.
A video of a guy holding his son’s hand in one arm and his dog in the other while driving was taken by Luz Elena, and it started an internet discussion on what should come first in a family.

Even though it was uploaded in May 2022, this heartwarming video has received over 4 million views and 5,000 comments on social media as of late.
The vast majority of commenters supported the man’s choice, with one saying, “If his leg hurts, the child has good tennis shoes.” It’s obvious that this parent values his love for both his son and his dog equally.
