Caitlyn Jenner Slams Biden Over Transgender Day of Visibility Landing on Easter

Unexpectedly, Caitlyn Jenner has attacked President Biden in public for what she sees as an intentional attempt to combine a Christian holiday with a transgender celebration day.

Caitlyn Jenner highlighted her dissatisfaction with Joe Biden in particular just one day before International Transgender Day of Visibility, which this year coincides with Easter. Jenner believes Biden purposefully intended for the two dates to occur at the same time.

“As a self-described devoted Catholic, I find it abhorrent that Joe Biden has designated the most holy of days as the Transgender Day of Visibility. “On this day, you should only proclaim that ‘HE is Risen,'” Jenner wrote on Twitter.

The irony of this circumstance is that Caitlyn Jenner strongly opposes the coincidence of these two events, despite the fact that she identifies as transgender. Additionally, Joe Biden bears no personal blame for the Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter.

The formal White House proclamation that was recently released gives the idea that President Biden is the one initiating this commemoration, which is what has the conservatives so incensed. Actually, during President Barack Obama’s administration in 2009, Transgender Day of Visibility was observed.

“NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility,” reads the proclamation, which is made in accordance with the authority granted to me by the US Constitution and statutes.

It also calls on all Americans to work toward the abolition of gender identity-based violence and discrimination, as well as to promote and elevate the voices of transgender people.

Even if they did not create the holiday, President Biden and his administration are undoubtedly drawing attention to it. Conservatives’ outrage over the day falling on Easter Sunday in 2024 makes sense, given the recent controversy surrounding transgender rights in the White House.

Prepare yourself for more of these debates in the future months as we near election season.
