Regardless matter how they seem, every human being is valuable. Supatra “Natty” Sasuphan from Bangkok is in the same boat.
She is said to have “werewolf disease.”
Fortunately, “Natty” has always had people that accept her for who she is.
“I don’t feel any different from anyone else, and I have a lot of friends at school,” Supatra remarked in 2010 after being named the world’s hairiest teenager by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Since meeting the love of her life, the 19-year-old “Natty” has shaved off all of her thick facial hair. It’s worth spreading her message to everyone to love yourself for who you are!
Supatra “Natty” Sasuphan from Thailand has abundant hair all over her body due to an uncommon ailment. When images of her were discovered by The Guiness Book of World Records, she was awarded the title of “hairiest teen in the world” in 2010.
“Being hairy makes me special,” she declared at the time.
The Daily Mail claims that Natty has Ambras Syndrome, an uncommon and incurable illness.
There are 50 documented examples of Ambras Syndrome, including the girl. Since the Middle Ages, the disease—which is brought on by a mismatched chromosome—has been documented. Patients were referred to as “werewolves” before the illness was well recognized.
Supatra has abundant hair that cascades over her arms, legs, back, cheeks, and ears. She has attempted laser surgery, but the hair growth has not stopped.
But unlike most individuals afflicted by the disease, Supatra is a self-assured young woman with a large social circle.
Supatra has developed in exactly the same manner as the majority of kids her age, despite her peculiar appearance. She enjoys hanging out with her pals, dancing to her favorite music, and swimming.
Supatra aspires to become a doctor because she wants to treat the ill and injured.
However, the little girl’s future wasn’t always promising. She had to have two surgeries when she was first born in order for her to breathe.
“We found out Supatra’s condition when she was born – we did not know before,” her 38-year-old father Sammrueng adds.
Supatra initially had difficulty breathing since her nostrils were so close together. To aid in her survival, she spent the first three months of her life in an incubator. Her overall hospital stay was ten months.
“We had a lot of concerns about her,” father Sammrueng remarks.
Supatra’s hair grew as she grew older. Her mother cut it for her on a daily basis.
Supatra is in good health and happiness at the age of 19. Furthermore, she recently ran into the love of her life!
Her father has verified that although she hasn’t stopped having the illness, she has started shaving her face and body since getting married.
Natty only has positive things to say about her hubby and is proud to flaunt her affection on Facebook. What a blessing it is that they connected!
She captions a Facebook picture of the couple with the words, “Not just my first love, you’re the love of my life.”
Natty, in spite of her difficult disease, is a strong, love-filled kid who is eternally optimistic.
She wants to be treated equally with everyone else since she is confident in who she is.
