The mother of Justin Bieber says, “I was sexually violated so many times that as the years passed, it started to feel normal.”

The negative aspects of his mother’s upbringing

Pattie Mallette, a forty-year-old Canadian screenwriter and film producer, is Justin Bieber’s mother and managed his early musical pursuits.

Pattie was emotionally distressed because she was still unmarried when she gave birth to Justin at the age of 17.

According to Mallette, “I was molested for the first time at the age of three, and sexual abuse and violence dominated my childhood.” A male babysitter, a friend’s granddad, and kids from the neighborhood who seem older than their years are among my offenders. I experienced sexual assault so frequently that it started to feel normal as the years passed. It’s an odd union when both parties are aware that something is off but nonetheless find it normal and comfortable.

At the tender age of fourteen, she began abusing alcohol, marijuana, and acid. She also started robbing stores.

She committed vandalism by lighting a fire in a school restroom, for which they expelled her.

At the age of fifteen, she began dating Jeremy Bieber, with whom she remained together for four years.

She fled her house when she was sixteen, and she has since made ends meet by selling drugs and engaging in small-time theft.

She experienced suicide thoughts, depression, and isolation throughout this time. At seventeen, she attempted suicide and ended herself in a mental health facility. She experienced a Christian conversion there.

Mallette attempted to get in touch with old friends who didn’t adhere to her newfound religion as soon as she was discharged from the hospital.

She has also resumed her conversation with Jeremy Bieber. It took her six months to become pregnant.

Justin was born to Mallette on March 1, 1994 in London, Ontario. After the birth of their kid, Mallette and Jeremy Bieber kept up their relationship for a bit before calling it quits.

When her son showed interest in music for two years, Mallette encouraged him.

When Justin was a teenager, she entered him in the 2007 Stratford Star talent event, where he placed second with his rendition of Ne-Yo’s “So Sick.”

Mallette recorded the performance and posted it to YouTube so that her friends and family could watch it. She did this for the next few performances as her son became well-known online.

In September 2012, the Christian publishing house Revell released her autobiography, “Nowhere but Up.”

The book describes Mallette’s challenging beginnings, her struggle to overcome parental abandonment and single status, and how she developed a strong faith and a graceful, upbeat existence.

It debuted at number seventeen on the New York Times Best Seller list.

The book has received reviews from a wide range of international publications.

Even though Justin’s childhood was unconventional, his mother gave him confidence that he would be able to give his own children the same kind of home.
