After his fervent need for employment went viral, the adolescent parent with “DEVAST8” tattooed all over his face is “waiting for the right job offer” and has disclosed that he will be having the jailhouse ink laser removed.
Mark Cropp, a 19-year-old from New Zealand, begged on social media on Wednesday afternoon for someone to give him a chance at work despite his criminal record and extensive facial tattoos.
After receiving numerous employment offers in a matter of hours, he declared that he had “stopped counting when he reached 45.”

Since his story went viral, Mark “Devast8” Cropp (above) has disclosed that he has declined 45 employment offers.
The 19-year-old, whose face tattoos were keeping him from getting a job, took to social media to vent his anguish.
He claimed, however, that he still hadn’t “done a day’s work” to Daily Mail Australia.
He remarked, “I’m just waiting for the right one to happen.”

He added that while he was required to have his own car for some of the positions, he would want assistance traveling to the work place.
“I will not be able to get around until I get my first paycheck and get a car,” he declared.
The ex-offenders said he would like the artwork—which his brother created after spending a night in jail drinking homemade beer—to be taken down as soon as possible.

“I am currently arranging a time to have it removed, which is unfortunate as it will cause pain,” he remarked.
Additionally, it is difficult for me to decide whether to get rid of this tattoo because it has special meaning for me and was done by my brother.
“But I want to be a person my family can look to for support, and I know this is the best thing for my future.”
The purpose of the artwork was to make him appear tough when he was arrested for a series of violent crimes.
This photo of Cropp was taken before to the facial tattoo that caused him to become well-known on social media.
He added, “It is difficult to decide to get rid of this tattoo because, you know, it means something to me and my brother did it for me.”
One year prior to Mark’s prison sentence, he got together with his girlfriend Taneia Ruki.
The plan was for a “little one along the jawline,” but after consuming homemade brew made from fermented apples, sugar, and bread, the two went beyond.
“I had four tattoos when I was arrested, and I had a full body suit when I was released,” he claimed.
For his family, though, the face tattoo was the biggest surprise.
“My partner was devastated when I taped a picture of my face to the inside of an envelope a week before I left, but now she loves it and can’t see me without it.”
By the way, the 19-year-old goes by DEVAST8.
According to Daily Mail Australia, Mark Cropp (pictured) is still waiting for the ideal position to open up.
Cropp (shown) claims that after consuming homebrew, he and his brother went beyond with the face tattoo, which was only meant to be minor.
“I was having a difficult time,” says the teenager with the DEVAST8 prison tattoo.
“I would eventually ruin everything I touched or came into contact with.”
I would constantly hear, “That’s devastating,” when I did or said something that would make them unhappy.
However, he hopes that the worst times in his life are behind him and that the ink on his face has been removed.
“I’ve learned from my error,” he declared.
“I still believe that people shouldn’t be judged based solely on the tattoos on their faces, but unless I take action, I know that this will continue to happen.”
The adolescent said that when he had requested for work, people had “laughed in (his) face” before to making his last, desperate plea on Facebook.
The tattoo was created using a handmade pistol that was driven by a cassette player and used a pen spring as the needle.
To make the ink, plastic knives and forks are burned until they turn into a black powder, which is then combined with water and toothpaste.
After serving two weeks in jail, the adolescent is now free.
