A modest farmer found an unknown cave in 1991 in Vietnam’s Phon Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
The man was so afraid of the deafening roar of water at the entry that he dared not investigate.
It seems that the choice to go deep within was only taken in 2009 by a group of British specialists. What did they find out?
The cave is home to plants, animals, clouds, and lakes!
There are small lakes with emerald-colored water, the best sand beaches on earth, and a river that flows through the entire cave.
The images are breathtaking!
