It was worth the wait to see Michael Ketterer back on America’s Got Talent!
As you may remember, Michael won the second Golden Buzzer of AGT Season 13 during his very first appearance on the show.
Michael is a pediatric mental health professional and a foster parent to six kids, some of whom were adopted. For what reason wouldn’t America accept him just for that?

Michael was able to move straight to the live performances after receiving the Golden Buzzer, which allowed him to bypass the Judges’ Cut phase where artists were eliminated based on the judges’ opinions.
Before he could even perform for the second time on AGT, Simon had to yell his praises. Simon was praising Michael nonstop!
“He is amazing; not only is he a fantastic vocalist, but he is a wonderful human being.” I’m ecstatic. I’m ecstatic at the moment. I really, really am!

All four judges and the entire crowd were standing ovating Michael after he concluded his song.
Tyra Banks sought feedback from Simon first, and the judge, overtaken with emotion, tried to wave it off. But Tyra would not allow them to pass him by! She pushed Simon to talk about his feelings.
Michael, please have a look at me. Oh, my dear. I understand why, being a father myself; I can’t even begin to think what you’ve gone through to be on this program. You’re a very special person, and you really need it. I don’t know what it is about you, though!
