Mary McCandlish, a 36-year-old resident of East Renfrewshire in Scotland, has made the decision to have another child.
The woman was already a mother of four children, who ranged in age from six to sixteen, thus her husband’s pregnancy brought her great joy.
But when the woman went to the hospital for a checkup, the ultrasound revealed this.
The fact that the woman was expecting triplets startled not only Mary but also the doctors.
Triplets, conceived naturally, can only be born once in 160.000, making this occurrence extremely unusual.
Doctors were concerned because the woman was short, standing only 155 cm tall.
It was difficult to carry three fetuses for nine months with such a little stature.
In her seventh month of pregnancy, Mary underwent a cesarean delivery and gave birth to identical triplets. Thai, Tyler, and Tomas, three boys, ranged in weight from 450 to 1300 grams.
Fortunately, the infants who spent Christmas in an incubator at a hospital in Glasgow survived and were promptly transferred out of the newborn ward.
Additionally, the family was able to celebrate Christmas together this year. The proud parents claimed that their family’s Christmas this year was the finest one ever.
“The triplets have a strong bond. They only need to gaze at one another for them to start laughing. The other two will also take a toy if one of them has it, according to their mother.
Mary also includes suggestions for mothers who have had several pregnancies in her counsel.
“Having four children before really helped, but I believe that staying relaxed is the key to dealing with triplets. Your children won’t be peaceful if you are anxious, the woman says.
