Woman Connected to Death of Robert de Niro’s Grandson Arrested after He Was Found Lifeless in Chair

Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, Robert De Niro’s grandson, passed away on July 2, 2023, allegedly from a drug overdose, and a suspect was detained in connection with the 19-year-old’s passing.

During an undercover sting operation carried out by the NYPD on Thursday, Sofia Haley Marks, age 20, was detained. According to rumors, she was the “Percocet Princess” drug dealer who sold the 19-year-old narcotics just before he passed away.

Haley is apparently being questioned by the police, although it is unknown what charges she may be given. Rodriguez is the child of Robert De Niro’s ex-wife Diahnne Abbott and De Niro’s eldest daughter Drena.

Where was the grandson of Robert De Niro discovered?
Rodriguez’s New York apartment was where the body was discovered. One of his buddies, who had been attempting to contact him for days, finally found his body.

The pills were discovered next to him, according to the initial reports, but there was no sign of trauma. The concierge of the unit claimed Rodriguez had only been a resident of the property for a short while.

The young man, according to the concierge, was kind and always greeted. Hearing about the passing of someone so young touched him. The concierge claimed that until he read about it, he was unaware of it. Because he was reminded of his own 20-year-old daughter, the passing thought was very sad.

The apartment’s occupants were unaware that an ambulance was picking up a body when it was stopped outside their building at the time of the death.

How Did Robert Interment His Grandson?
