A homeless man asks to sing with a street musician, and when he starts, the audience freezes in their tracks

These days, there are street entertainers everywhere. It is not unusual to see one of them about town. But it’s possible that this kind of performer is less typical. UK street performer Johnny Walker made the decision to venture to Leeds one chilly evening.

He typically performs alone, but this time he decided to invite a visitor. Johnny didn’t give the addition of a homeless tramp to the show a second thought. And, thankfully, he did. He made a valuable complement to the performance.

The homeless man, Bernard, has a fascinating past. He is well-liked and well-known throughout the city.

He is a former Harry’s Game cast member who is the father of two kids. He used to be active in the Irish Folk scene.

The performance simply doesn’t do justice to the sound of his voice in what we’ve written about it here.

You must listen to it for yourself.
You won’t regret taking the time to pay attention, either. It demonstrates that there are talented people everywhere and that you shouldn’t always judge a book by its cover.

View this video, then let us know what you think. Would you have guessed that this man could sing that well? Would you have given his past—especially one that was on television—any thought? Please share your opinions in the section below.
