The singer, who was conspicuously missing from the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, took to Instagram to share a photo of herself relaxing by the pool and soaking up some final summer rays. As Lipa posed in yet another teeny, tiny string bikini, she appeared toned.
She has a ton of amazing swimsuits, including her sequin snakeskin moment, citrus-orange bikini, and strappy Coconut Girl monokini, but her most recent is especially stunning: Lipa is sporting a Juliet Johnstone JJ Army String Bikini. Her triangle bikini top has forest green straps that tie in a halter-style neckline and the loveliest small colorful butterflies dancing against the black fabric. Of course, Lipa was rocking the matching bottoms that tied into tiny bows on either side of her hips. To keep her hair out of her face and to display some simple hoop earrings that complemented the silver chain link bracelet she wore on her left wrist, the singer opted for a slicked-back pony.
The photo dump’s “day&night randoms” description was followed by the rest of Lipa’s post, which featured clothing that could be worn from day to night. The “Levitating” singer made a kissy face for the camera in the second image while wearing a slinky, ruched black midi dress. She added a few rings, some sunglasses, and a ponytail braid for a more put-together appearance. She also swapped her straightforward hoops for more elaborate gold earrings.
Other images included one of Lipa relaxing in a swing chair wearing a sheer, long-sleeved black dress with a lovely gold chain neckline, and another of her casually rocking an abstract gingham bralette, shirt, and miniskirt combo. Any maximalist, disorganized print (or birthday dress with a flame theme) could only be made to seem fashionable by Dua.
Dua Lipa is now taking a little break from her Future Nostalgia tour before continuing her concerts in Brazil. She was unable to attend the 2022 MTV VMAs because she was most recently in Charleval, France, for the wedding of fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.
